BMW legends: A tale of two M's from different eras

A stunning photoshoot in Holwerd, Netherlands, features two beautiful white BMWs: the 1 Series M Coupé and the iconic E30 M3.

The 1 Series M Coupé, with only 6,331 units produced from May 2011 to the summer of 2012, is a remarkable car powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six petrol engine that generates 340 hp at 5,900 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at just 1,500 rpm. In contrast, the E30 M3, produced from March 1986 to June 1991, isn't that much rarer than the 1 Series M, with a total of 17,970 units, almost triple the amount. This legendary model marked the start of the M3 series and features an inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 197 hp at 6,750 rpm and 240 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. Both cars are incredible pieces of automotive history, each representing a unique era of BMW's performance legacy. Which one of these two would you love to take for a spin?
