The Chevrolet Corvette has always been a striking presence in Europe, and you don’t even need a particularly flashy configuration to stand out. However, this German decided to go for one anyway.
With this C8 generation, the Corvette has become a very different car from its predecessors, largely due to the placement of the engine. You might think of it as an American Ferrari 458, although the looks are not quite as Italian. It remains an American car, evident from the build quality and the sound from the four exhaust pipes at the back. The formula is still a big V8 in the sports coupe or convertible, but it's still a great car for the price of 106,000 euros.
In this case, it’s the convertible version that Michael encountered in bustling Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, the occupants drove away just before the spotter arrived, so there are only a few driving shots. Still, these are good enough to showcase this red and gold color combination. I think this one strongly resembles the Iron Man spec and looks really unique and stunning at the same time.
