Geneva 2009: Aston Martin V12 Vantage

It's been a month since the Aston Martin V12 Vantage grew up and was reborn under the name "V12 Vantage". Quite a few people thought the V8 Vantage wasn't the Vantage they'd hoped for. This new V12 Vantage will change those opinions! We introduce the new V12 Vantage, a new Aston Martin Vantage with a V12!

The first remarkable changes are of course the exterior. The car got a lot more extreme than the V8 Vantage. More holes are created to allow fresh air to enter to cool the engine. Additional wings and parts create more downforce and better handling. The V12 creates more than 500 bhp, 517 to be precise, so that's just under 100 bhp more than its predecessor, the V8 Vantage. Aston Martin says its top speed is well over 300 kilometers per hour and you'll be able to reach 100 kilometers per hour in four seconds. The Brits will build 300 to 500 V12 Vantage cars a year. The first customers will receive their new car by the end of the year!
