Open cars with a roaring V12. It starts to become a rarity. Aston Martin has the V12 Vantage Roadster, Bentley still has the Continental GTC with a W12 and Mercedes-Benz has the SL 65 AMG. This last one is tuned by tuner Brabus and they claim to have made world’s fastest Roadster. The performance of this car is really crazy.
800 hp and 1420 Nm of torque, this is all possible thanks to the BRABUS T65 RS tuning package. The SL 65 sprints to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds and you’ll reach 200 kph in 9.8 seconds! A real canon which makes you lose all your hair when the top is open and you sprint away. The BRABUS T65 RS tuning package consists a biturbo system which is developed by Brabus themselves. Despite the maximum torque of 1420 Nm, it is limited to 1100 Nm to keep it all working. The top speed is also limited, they think that 350 kph is enough for this car! We will probably see this car in Geneva!
