Ferrari Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Editions: A showcase of exclusive colors

Ferrari Friday brings a brand-new model to our site: the Ferrari 296 GTS Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Edition. These special editions were exclusively available to customers who participated at least once in the Ferrari Cavalcade, and they were offered for select models including the 812 Competizione Coupé and Aperta, SF90 Stradale and Spider, and the 296 GTB and GTS. In terms of performance, the Cavalcade versions do not differ from their standard counterparts; the real distinction lies in their unique paint jobs, which come in various exclusive colors.

This particular 296 GTS sports a stunning dark red (Rosso Taormina) with light red accents, and it looks absolutely spectacular under the sun. The photos beautifully capture the contrast between the color in the shade and how it glows under direct sunlight. Beyond this model, we’ve seen several other Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Editions, like the Ferrari 812 Competizione A, which has been spotted in three different paint jobs: the same dark red as this 296 GTS, a deep green (Verde Volterra), and a striking blue (Blu Capri).

There are also two more colors, yet to be seen: a white (Bianco Courmayeur) and a silver (Argento Siracusa).

Each color in this series has a story, symbolizing an Italian region where a Cavalcade event has taken place. For instance, Bianco Courmayeur was inspired by the 2018 Cavalcade-Tour around Mont Blanc, while Blu Capri draws from the 2019 Cavalcade-Tour in Capri, echoing the blue and green hues of the sea surrounding the island of Faraglioni. Verde Volterra, with its green and bronze tones, reflects the earthy landscapes of Tuscany from the 2013 Cavalcade-Tour. Argento Siracusa, inspired by the 2014 Cavalcade-Tour in the Sicilian region of Siracusa, is reminiscent of the silver and gold tones reflecting the sun on baroque marble in Italian art cities. Lastly, Rosso Taormina, with its deep, earthy red, evokes the fiery slopes of Mount Etna.

Interestingly, Ferrari originally announced that there would only be five versions of the Cavalcade 10th Anniversary Edition. However, this sighting of the 296 GTS marks the sixth version offered, adding to the 812 Competizione (Coupé and Aperta), SF90 Stradale and Spider, and 296 GTB. We’re eagerly awaiting to see the two missing colors - Bianco Courmayeur and Argento Siracusa - spotted soon. We also have yet to see an SF90 Stradale and a 296 GTB Cavalcade Edition. Hopefully, those will make an appearance in the future!
