IAA 2013: BMW M5 F10 Facelift

BMW recently refreshed the M5. The adjustments are minimal, the most outstanding adjustments are the new headlights. Those aren’t round anymore. Meanwhile, there are other changes under the hood. BMW brought the car to Frankfurt to show it to the public.

The new look is mostly based on the new head- and taillights. Optional is the new Competition Package, which increases the power from 560 to 575 hp. Sprinting to 100 kph takes 4.3 seconds and the top speed is increased to 300 kph. Next to that, the car is lowered with one centimeter which lowers the center point of gravity which will result in a higher corner speed.
