Another day, another brand-new Mansory creation makes its debut in Monaco - this time it’s the Mansory MCX Pregusa, based on the Maserati MC20. The MCX Pregusa features a complete vehicle transformation, highlighted by a fully redesigned interior and all body components crafted from full carbon. It stands out as an exclusive, high-performance sports car limited to just five units. So let’s dive deeper into its remarkable transformation!
Performance:
Under the hood, Mansory’s engineers have made several enhancements, resulting in a substantial increase in power over the standard Maserati MC20. The 3.0L V6 biturbo engine now delivers 750 hp and 880 Nm of torque, up from the stock 630 hp and 730 Nm. These performance upgrades are primarily due to new engine electronics and a bespoke high-performance exhaust system, giving the MCX Pregusa a top speed of 335 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.6 seconds.
Exterior:
The Mansory MCX Pregusa stands out as an uncompromising, high-performance sports car, thanks to its distinctive design and full carbon body. Massive, enlarged air intakes in the carbon front apron ensure optimal airflow to the high-performance coolers, while a newly designed front lip and additional flaps contribute to a striking visual appearance and enhanced front axle performance.
The side profile is equally striking, featuring bold carbon wheel arches and a unique carbon air scoop with an integrated spoiler that extends up to the windshield frame - showcasing Mansory’s expertise in carbon craftsmanship. The side engine air intakes are also constructed from carbon, and the new carbon bonnet channels additional cooling air to the powerful 3.0L V6 biturbo engine, mounted longitudinally ahead of the rear axle.
At the rear, a newly developed carbon wing and a double diffuser with a central brake light enhance downforce and complete the MCX Pregusa’s aerodynamic package. The car’s powerful four-pipe exhaust system rounds off the rear view with a commanding presence.
Interior:
As expected from Mansory, the interior of the Mansory MCX Pregusa is fully customizable to the customer’s preferences. The cabin is lavishly appointed with glove-soft leather, reflecting the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Orange seat belts adorned with black Mansory logos add a touch of flair, while the footwell and matching leather floor mats harmonize with the overall interior color scheme.
Where leather isn’t used, selective carbon accents elevate the interior’s sporty yet refined atmosphere. A Mansory sports leather steering wheel and intricately embroidered Mansory logos provide the finishing touches to the comprehensive interior refinement.
Wheeels & Tires:
The MCX Pregusa rides on ultra-light, one-piece forged wheels measuring 9.5 x 21 inches at the front and 12 x 22 inches at the rear, paired with high-performance tires sized 255/30 ZR21 for the front and 335/25 ZR22 for the rear. These wheels not only deliver maximum lateral dynamics but also offer superior tracking stability at high speeds. The brake calipers can be custom-painted to the customer’s specifications, complete with a Mansory logo in the color of choice.
