Mercedes-AMG was already teasing the C 63 Coupé for quite a while. A car of which we already knew that it would come, the only question was when. Last week a few photos were leaked but now the C 63 Coupé is officially unveiled. Engine-wise there's no surprise, 476 hp and 510 hp is the amount of power of the C 63 Coupé.
The C63 S will produces 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque and this means that it will easily reach the limited top speed of 250 kph. You can increase the top speed to 290 kph by ordering the AMG Drivers Package. A sprint from zero to 100 kph takes only 3.9 seconds. The normal C 63 is just 0.1 seconds slower. This version produces 476 hp and 650 Nm of torque.
The C-Class Coupé isn't really new. Last Sunday we could already take a peek at the new Coupé and it was easy to imagine what the AMG version would look like. AMG has widened the fenders and made the car look more brutal, just like we expected. We can see that Mercedes is working a new design style and the C-Class looks a lot like a smaller version of the S-Class. We expect that the E-Class will have the same sort of design.
We will meet the Coupé at the IAA in Frankfurt. After the show we expect that the cars can soon be found at the local dealerships, ready to hit the streets.
