Reflections on 9/11: New York, the Twin Towers, and resilience

A blue Porsche 992 Carrera S was spotted parked on a side street in New York City, with One World Trade Center rising in the distance - a powerful symbol of strength and unity. Today marks 23 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. I've watched countless documentaries on 9/11, and I am deeply moved by the courage and selflessness of the FDNY, EMTs, and NYPD first responders who risked everything to save lives, putting others before themselves. We pause today to honor and remember the victims, their families, and the countless heroes whose bravery will never be forgotten.

I always felt a strong connection to the Twin Towers; I even had a poster of them back in the day. Their design was so beautiful to me, and I find it sad that they weren't rebuilt as they originally were. Back in the day Donald Trump proposed reconstructing the Twin Towers in the exact same design - a vision that resonated with me. Unfortunately, they weren't rebuilt that way, but the new One World Trade Center and the memorial have also turned out to be truly beautiful. Now, another poster hangs on my wall, featuring a scene of New York City with a 991 GT2 RS and an FDNY fire truck in the background.
