Roarington Meta: The pinnacle of exclusive racing simulators

Currently, the new simulators from Roarington Meta are on display for testing at one of the most renowned five-star hotels in Switzerland, the Chedi Hotel in Andermatt. We dared to try out these extremely exclusive simulators and achieved an amazing time. Read on to learn more about these breathtaking simulators...

We are currently experiencing a true boom in simulators. Everywhere, shops are opening where you can mostly drive Formula 1 simulators. If you think these simulators offer the same experience, you are greatly mistaken. These simulators are different. They are incomparable with any other simulator manufacturers. They are incredibly exclusive and of the highest quality.

There are two different simulators. One is made from a fully-fledged Pininfarina chassis that looks like a classic car. The second was designed by Zagato and consists of an aluminum frame on which parts of a Zagato chassis were built. When you hear these two names, Zagato and Pininfarina, it quickly becomes clear what exclusive devices these are. Pininfarina and Zagato are among the most established design studios worldwide. Cars like the F40 and the DB4 GTZ were designed by these companies.

The craftsmanship of the two simulators is also incredible. As we can see in the pictures, the finest materials were used in the interior. What is special about the simulators is that you can configure them like a real car and even more. For example, if you own a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, you can order the leather in the exact same color and pattern. Or you could even mount an original 300 SL steering wheel. It gets even better if you have a car in a special color. Roarington Meta then sends an expert who determines the exact color code of the vehicle and paints the simulator in exactly the same color. In the end, you have a car and a simulator that look exactly the same. So you see, these simulators are more than just play and fun; they are rather art and collector's items.

It gets even more special if you own an extremely special vehicle. In that case, the professional technicians come and scan your entire vehicle. Not just the appearance, but also the sound and general behavior on the road. All these measurements are then loaded into the program, perfectly synchronized, and then you can drive your own vehicle. Speaking of driving, if you have a specific track you want to drive on the simulator, Roarington's technicians and engineers come and scan that track as well. For example, you could drive the famous Bernina mountain route near St. Moritz. There is no other simulator that offers this track.

We also drove the Bernina Pass mountain route with its numerous hairpin bends. The car we drove was a Porsche 550 RS Spyder, which seems perfect for this route. For the 6.3-kilometer track with over 27 curves (5 hairpin bends), we took less than 4 minutes. This is also the time that a real 550 Spyder achieves at the Bernina Gran Turismo.

My conclusion on the simulators: In my opinion, they are the most beautiful and best-crafted racing simulators I have ever encountered. Driving them is not only incredibly fun but also feels incredibly real. In a car collection with classic cars, these simulators can only be recommended.
