The first spot of the Ferrari Roma Spider Novitec Rosso

A first on our site, the Ferrari Roma Spider Novitec Rosso, was recently spotted in Monaco. This stunning vehicle is finished in a dark matte green with a sleek black stripe across the bonnet, complemented by yellow accents on the front fender, side skirt, and rear diffuser. It also features matte black wheels paired with striking yellow brake calipers.

It has been more than half a century since Ferrari last offered a front-engine convertible with a folding roof - the Ferrari 365 GTS4 - until the Roma Spider reintroduced this configuration. Now, Novitec, the world’s leading tuner for Ferrari, offers an exclusive customization program for this elegant roadster. The sporty, refined appearance of the two-seater convertible is further enhanced with bespoke exposed carbon fiber components and high-tech forged wheels, available in sizes up to 22 inches. Novitec also boosts the Roma Spider’s performance, offering engine tuning packages that deliver up to 84 additional hp. With a total of 704 hp and 882 Nm of torque, the tuned Roma Spider can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 325 km/h.

Novitec’s designers have created a sporty yet elegant body kit for the Roma Spider, crafted from exposed carbon fiber with a high-gloss finish. The front bumper is upgraded with three custom enhancements, including a Novitec front spoiler lip that reduces front axle lift at high speeds, thereby improving stability. The carbon fiber front grille and headlight covers give the Roma Spider an even more distinctive look. The Novitec design package also includes carbon fiber covers for the side mirrors and side skirts, making the Spider appear lower and longer. The rear of the car can be upgraded with a spoiler lip, covers over the four taillights, and an exposed carbon fiber diffuser. Additionally, the stock exhaust system can be fitted with four matte black Novitec tailpipes, seamlessly integrated into the Novitec diffuser.

Adding to the Roma Spider's striking appearance are the new Novitec NF11 wheels, featured on this model. These five-pair spoke wheels extend to the outer rim and have central lock-look hub caps. To emphasize the car’s wedge shape, 21-inch wheels with 9-inch width are fitted at the front, while the rear features 12Jx22-inch wheels. High-performance tires sized 255/30 ZR 21 at the front and 315/25 ZR 22 at the rear complete the setup. The Novitec sport springs are perfectly matched to these exclusive wheels, lowering the open-top Roma by about 35 millimeters. For models equipped with the factory MagneRide suspension, these springs are available with a hydraulic front lift system, allowing the front end to be raised by 40 millimeters at the push of a button to navigate ramps or speed bumps. The car can be returned to normal height manually or automatically when speeds exceed 80 km/h.

Beyond enhancing the Roma Spider's sporty aesthetics and handling, Novitec also offers three performance kits that unlock even more excitement from the 3.9-liter V8 Biturbo engine. These upgrades are designed to maximize the engine’s potential without compromising reliability. The engine becomes even more responsive to throttle inputs, delivering improved power delivery across the rev range. All tuning packages feature the Novitec N-TRONIC module, which introduces custom mappings for fuel injection, boost pressure, and ignition into the Ferrari’s electronic engine management system. In the highest upgrade level, which includes 100-cell sports metal catalytic converters with advanced thermal insulation, an additional 84 hp is achieved. With 704 hp at 7,400 rpm and a peak torque of 882 Nm at just 3,750 rpm, the Novitec-tuned Roma Spider rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of over 325 km/h.

When it comes to the interior, Novitec offers a vast selection of premium leather and Alcantara in virtually endless color options.
