A stunning new Pagani has been spotted in Warsaw, Poland, and it’s none other than the Huayra Epitome - a one-off creation that represents the latest addition to the impressive collection of Binezis. Known for his passion for extraordinary cars, he has once again pushed the boundaries with this unique masterpiece. The Huayra Epitome, the first of its kind equipped with a manual transmission, stands as a testament to the pinnacle of technology and customization in Pagani's road-legal cars.
As Pagani described, the client had a clear vision for this project: to create a unique masterpiece that elevates the Huayra to its highest expression. The name "Epitome" was chosen to reflect this concept, symbolizing the ultimate embodiment of an idea, value, or concept. He sought to enhance the Huayra's performance while preserving its innate elegance.
The creation of the Huayra Epitome was a collaborative process, with Binezis working closely with Horacio Pagani and his team. This journey, which lasted nine months of conceptualization followed by ten months of design work, was a meticulous and intricate process. Despite the challenges of developing bespoke components for a single vehicle, the collaboration allowed the team to explore new ideas with passion and enthusiasm.
At the heart of the Huayra Epitome is the Pagani V12 engine, a 5,980 cc twin-turbocharged marvel built by AMG to Pagani's exacting specifications. Capable of delivering 864 hp (635 kW) at 6,000 rpm, with a torque of 1,100 Nm, this engine offers an exhilarating driving experience. The manual transmission, paired with an electronically controlled differential and a racing-style tripod driveshaft, ensures that the power is efficiently transferred to the road. The advanced suspension system, designed to reduce dive, pitch, and roll, further enhances vehicle control and safety.
Pagani has also prioritized driving comfort in the Huayra Epitome, introducing an innovative active suspension system. A "super soft" button in the cabin allows for extra comfort on rough roads, while the shock absorbers automatically adjust at speeds above 150 km/h. The six-way titanium exhaust system, paired with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires and forged aluminum alloy wheels, completes the performance package, offering exceptional grip and a symphonic exhaust note.
The design of the Huayra Epitome is both pure and elegant, with custom-made elements tailored to the clients specific requests. The car features a new front and rear bumper, an exclusive front hood with custom light clusters, and a rear hood with an integrated wing. The aerodynamic enhancements, inspired by the Huayra R, ensure optimal performance while maintaining the car's distinctive elegance. The front end, with its integrated splitter and wider mouth, improves downforce and airflow, while the redesigned rear hood and wing enhance both performance and aesthetics.
The Huayra Epitome is the only Pagani one-off to feature unique light units, including four lights on the front hood and two DRLs on the bumper, further enhancing its exclusivity. The rear design, with its sculptural wing supports and aerodynamic profile, is a blend of art and science, creating a seamless and cohesive aesthetic.
