Would you combine these two colors?

When people configure their cars, they sometimes come up with wild ideas. Sometimes they combine colors that don't go together at all, and sometimes they design their vehicles to reach the pinnacle of perfection. However, this wasn't just a whimsical idea from the customer of this 296 GTS; there is actually a historical background here. Read on to learn more about it.

The line between very ugly and extremely beautiful is extremely thin. Especially with the very noble car brands, where you can design the car entirely according to the customer's wishes, one should be careful. You can completely ruin the car just through the configuration. However, you can also design it perfectly. The reason why this Ferrari 296 GTS has this color combination is not that the buyer was crazy (in my eyes, it doesn't look quite right). Rather, it's because Ferraris were painted in these colors in earlier times. For example, there is a Ferrari 250 GT Trogo which was painted exactly in these colors. And people love to recreate cars in the same colors as the classics. For instance, there is also a Ferrari Monza SP2 which is also combined in the same colors of red and light blue. Whether it's beautiful or not, we’ll leave that open to interpretation. After all, it’s a matter of taste.
