Only ten copies ever built: Bentley Continental T Chatsworth

Since the establishment of Bentley, special Bentleys are build. This can either be done by Bentley itself or by dealers. The following sport features a DLE, Dealer Limited Edition. This Continental T Chatsworth is build only ten times back in 1998. What makes this limited edition so special?

This Continental T is an extremely powerful Bentley but also a real Bentley when it comes to size and weight. It’s an enormous sled with a length of 5.22 meters. Under the long bonnet we can find an V8 with a cylinder capacity of 6.75, a traditional engine for Bentley, which provides the car of 420 bhp and 875 Newtonmeters of torque. Despite the weight of 2450 kilograms it can just sprint to 270 kilometers per hour. This were the specs so far, inferior details for this article.

In the same year as the Continental T, the Continental R Chatsworth and Bentley Azure Chatsworth were introduced. Ten copies were made of the Continental R Chatsworth, the number of copies of the Azure Chatsworth is unknown. You have to be a real expert to see the differences between a normal T and the T Chatsworth. The Continental T has a paintjob from the Bentley Motors Ltd special colours series. The lamelles of the front spoiler and rearview mirrors are finished in the exterior colour. On the back there also is a plaquette, saying ‘Chatsworth’. If you think you walked into one, check this by looking at the interior. Inside, a ‘Chatsworth’ logo is stitched upon the fron panel and front- and rear seats. All the chrome is finished in black and the interior is finished with dark ash wooden lay-in. Also plaquettes in the thresholds can be found.
