As Monterey Car Week is now in full force, an incredible sighting occurred just before its start in Laguna Beach, California. Spotter Yantje captured an astonishing combination of the brand new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Extreme and the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Extreme. These exceptional vehicles were seen alongside other remarkable cars, such as the Pagani Huayra Roadster and the Porsche 992 GT3 RS. However, the spotlight undeniably belongs to the Bugattis.
The Chiron Pur Sport Extreme is a boldly bespoke design, crafted alongside an exquisitely matched Chiron Super Sport Extreme. Both cars feature fully exposed carbon fiber exteriors and have eschewed leather and Alcantara interiors in favor of full carbon interiors. Commissioned and built together, these cars embody a pinnacle of luxury and performance.
The Chiron Super Sport Extreme stands as the ultimate grand tourer, powered by an overhauled 8.0-liter W16 engine that delivers an astonishing 1,600 hp. The heart of the Chiron Extreme cars lies in the extensive use of exposed carbon fiber, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and engineering. Aligning the carbon fiber weave across every body panel, from one end of the car to the other, takes months of precise work. This perfectly aligned carbon fiber weave, never before applied to any other Chiron, is also present in the interiors of both cars, emphasizing their unique and extreme nature. This includes six pieces of one-off carbon fiber, exclusive to the Extreme Chiron collaboration cars for Sparky18888 and VTM_TheKing_4.
The body color, Bleu Pacific, was specially requested. It features a stunning gradient of stripes in varying widths, starting from the front bonnet and extending to the rear engine compartment. These one-off liveries were designed specifically for the Extreme Chiron collaboration, with the concept of creating the most detail-oriented cars and selecting one of the last iterations of the Chiron: the Pur Sport and Super Sport.
