The Brabus 900 Rocket R: Design, power, and craftsmanship unveiled

One of just 25 Porsche Brabus 900 Rocket R models has been spotted in Düsseldorf, Germany. This is only the third sighting of this exclusive supercar and the second one to be featured on our site. The first Brabus 900 Rocket R was seen in mid-July in Dubai, UAE. Design & Exterior: Time to Rocket.

The Brabus 900 Rocket R is crafted to deliver what Brabus calls a "1-Second-Wow" with its bold and aggressive silhouette that is sure to impress. It features a bespoke Brabus Widestar body made from high-quality carbon fiber, developed using advanced manufacturing techniques and precise wind tunnel testing. This results in an impressive blend of high performance and aerodynamic efficiency, which is characteristic of the Brabus Rocket series.

The front of the car is dominated by a fully carbon fiber Brabus front spoiler, optimized for downforce at high speeds. Its carbon trim guides airflow to the radiator intakes and front brakes, enhancing cooling and stability. The Brabus Widestar bumper seamlessly integrates with the widened Brabus fenders, which include specially designed air outlets to vent heated air from the wheel arches lined with custom Kevlar panels. Visible carbon side skirts accentuate the supercar's 196.8 cm wide wedge shape, while large air intakes channel fresh air to the engine and cooling systems.

At the rear, the Brabus Widestar bumper incorporates a carbon diffuser that perfectly frames the four tailpipes of the Brabus Inconel high-performance exhaust system. This aerodynamic component, combined with the Brabus carbon rear spoiler, enhances downforce on the rear axle, ensuring optimal stability. Additional details like carbon mirror covers and a carbon Brabus emblem between the taillights add subtle but striking touches to the exterior design.

Power & Sound: Unleashing Raw Power

The Brabus 900 Rocket R takes the performance of the Porsche 992 Turbo S to a whole new level. While the standard 992 Turbo S already impresses with 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 330 km/h, the Brabus 900 Rocket R delivers significantly more power. It is equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine enhanced by twin Brabus high-performance turbochargers, generating an astonishing 900 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. This extra power allows the Rocket R to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach 200 km/h in only 7.2 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 340 km/h to protect the Continental SportContact 7 tires.

This supercar’s performance is complemented by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can be operated in both automatic and manual modes, allowing drivers to fully experience the vehicle’s exceptional capabilities. The electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system ensures superb grip and stability, even in high-speed cornering.

The Brabus high-performance exhaust system, crafted from premium Inconel, amplifies the car's raw power with a captivating sound. Electronically controlled valves let the driver adjust the exhaust note directly from the cockpit. In "Coming Home" mode, the six-cylinder engine emits a subdued tone for relaxed driving. For those seeking the full 900 hp experience, switching to "Sport" mode unleashes the complete auditory spectacle of this supercar.

Wheels & Suspension: Built for Speed

The Brabus 900 Rocket R rides on new 22/21-inch Brabus Monoblock P wheels. Manufactured using advanced forging and machining techniques, these unique five-spoke wheels, combined with Brabus Rocket signature carbon aero discs, give the car a distinctive motorsport flair. This striking combination of lightweight construction and strength not only catches the eye but also effectively directs heated air from the brakes out of the wheel wells. A specially developed Brabus coilover suspension with custom springs and fully adjustable dampers ensures optimal handling and further enhances the supercar’s next-level driving dynamics with a lowered center of gravity.
