The rare Chrysler Viper GTS with nostrils

When one thinks of a Viper, most would think of the model sold under the Dodge brand. However, Chrysler also offered a version of the Viper. Here we see an example that has additional headlights, just like those of the TS-R GT1 model.

The reason we write very little about American vehicles here is that most people prefer European cars. However, we are looking at a very special vehicle that certainly deserves the attention of the readers. This is a very rare version of the Dodge Viper GTS, sold under the name Chrysler. The Chrysler Viper GTS, produced from 1996 to 2010, was an American sports coupe with a powerful V10 engine. It achieved a top speed of over 300 km/h and accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. The Viper GTS gained recognition for its participation in prestigious racing series such as the American Le Mans Series and the FIA GT Championship, where it won several titles. Its aerodynamic design and minimalist interior underscored its performance-oriented nature. Despite being discontinued, the Viper GTS remains a sought-after collector's car. The GTS seen here in Peschiera del Garda, Italy, reminds us of the GTS-R GT1 thanks to its additional headlights resembling two nostrils, which competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the early 2000s.
